Twinwood Arena, Twinwood Road, Clapham, Beds MK41 6AB
Facilities: toilets, showers, chemical disposal points, campsite shop. The campsites are lit at night, and have beautiful panoramic views across Bedfordshire. Both campsites are situated close to Twinwood Arena. Neither site has electric hook up points.
During Rhythm Festival 2010 we will operate two camping fields:
VEGAS FIELD is right next to the Main Arena. It has showers, toilets & water points, a chemical disposal point and is near to the General Store, Frying Dutchman and real coffee shop. To book click here
BUENA VISTA is a new 15 acre camping field, adjacent to Vegas and with beautiful views across the Bedfordshire countryside. This is the quiet site recommended for families. The Main Arena is accessed by walking via the top end of Vegas Field and so is much nearer to the festival site than the old Leafy Glades. Buena Vista is fitted with showers, toilets & water points, etc. To book click here
CAR PARKING IN CAMPSITES: Although you will be allowed to unload your car beside your camping space, you will not be allowed to park next to your tent. Cars can only be parked around the perimeter of each camping field. This is a safety measure and allows cooking to take place. Your car will not be far away and will be visible and easily reached from your tent. (Caravans will be in a separate area and these restrictions do not apply.)
FIRES & COOKING: You are allowed to have a small barbecue in both camping fields, provided that the fire is contained within a purpose built barbecue, which is well off the ground so it will not damage the grass. You must have a bucket of water or a fire extinguisher near to the barbecue at all times whilst in use, and not leave any barbecue or cooking appliance unattended until it is completely cold.
PLEASE NOTE: Campsite space can only be booked and used by people with full-weekend tickets (no camping available for day ticket holders). A campsite plot is needed for each tent, caravan or campervan rather than for each person.
